"The Wandering Wok" is a food truck brand dedicated to delivering authentic Southeast Asian street food experiences. The logo design aimed to capture the brand's adventurous, lively, and authentic personality through vibrant visuals and a dynamic character.

Initial Exploration & Concept Development:

The design process began with an exploration of various visual concepts, including stylized woks, floral motifs, and cultural symbols. Early sketches focused on capturing the essence of Southeast Asian street food culture. Through iterations, the concept of a dragon chef, a mythical symbol of strength and prosperity in Southeast Asian cultures, emerged as the most fitting representation of the brand's unique offering.

Crafting the Icon:

The dragon chef icon, a central element of the logo, was meticulously crafted to embody the brand's lively and friendly persona. The dynamic pose, wielding a wok and chopsticks, captures the energy of a bustling street food vendor.

Colour Palette: A Symphony of Southeast Asian Flavours:

The colour palette, inspired by the vibrant hues of Southeast Asian markets, was carefully selected to evoke the brand's authentic culinary experience. Primary colours like Mango Yellow, Chili Red, and Jade Green were chosen for their energetic and inviting qualities. Secondary colours, drawn from the illustration's shading, add depth and richness.

Font Choice: Playful & Authentic:

The font selection focused on capturing the brand's lively personality. A handwritten style font, with a slight slant, was chosen for its playful and approachable feel, complementing the dragon chef's dynamic pose.
